The Cypress Trees of San Quirico d’Orcia
A heavy sky, a fragile light, and Mana walking alone through the Tuscan hills.
I did not want to paint a faithful landscape, but an atmosphere — that strange moment when nature feels immense, silent, almost inward.
The famous Tuscan cypress trees become almost like presences here, watching over Mana, lost in the space and light of the Val d’Orcia.
Oil on canvas, 40 × 50 cm, one-of-a-kind piece.
Pre-order — painting currently in progress.
