The Yawn, inspired by Munch’s The Scream, explores the gentleness of everyday life with a touch of silent tenderness. Hand-painted in oil on canvas, this work presents a free, almost instinctive pictorial gesture, allowing fluid and organic forms to emerge. Some pigments were mixed with Tuscan earth, incorporated directly into the pictorial material.
